Compex's Program to Sculpt your Abs

Compex offers a specific program called 'Firm your Stomach'. This program promotes muscle volume gain by delivering intense and repeated contractions to sculpt your abs. The quality of the electrical impulses means that a high volume of muscle fibers are recruited. This ensures effective training, provided that the sessions are performed with correct technique and regularity.

Program: Firm your Stomach

Cycle Duration and Session Frequency: 3 sessions per week for 6 weeks
To sculpt your abs, you must be consistent in your practice. 3 sessions per week for a 6 week period is the minimum dose you need in order to achieve fantastic results!
Note that you can work on multiple muscle groups on the same day with electrostimulation, depending on the time you have. However, we recommend against working the same muscle group several times on the same day.

Body Position and Exercises: Below are some exercise tips you can do with Compex to sculpt your abs. To vary your session, you can alternate between these 3 exercises.

Intensity Setting: the desired effect is to achieve powerful contractions involving as many muscle fibers as possible.

Increase the intensity on a regular basis to the maximum level that you can tolerate during contraction phases! This is really important because the intensity affects the percentage of muscle fibers you recruit to sculpt your abs during a workout. You can increase intensity regularly throughout each session because your abdominal muscles will get used to the technique.
Set the goal of beating the intensity levels reached in your last session.
You will quickly get to an intensity level of 100. Then try to achieve a level of about 250. It is not uncommon to see some athletes go up to the maximum (999).

You do not need to increase intensity during the rest phase.

During the warm-up and recovery phase: increase the intensity until you see visible and comfortable muscle twitches. On the SP 8.0, the mi-AUTORANGE function will automatically adjust the intensity. Once the intensity has been found, the system will display "Optimal intensity level found." After this, you're ready to sculpt your abs with a Compex session.

The screen displays session progress for both wired and wireless devices.
