Pay attention to the battery with cabled Compex devices
If your Compex has been, or needs to remain, “in a drawer” for more than 10 days, it is advisable to remove the battery. This simple step will allow you to reuse it without battery issues—or, in the worst case, system issues—when you want to get back to training, relaxing, and recovering with your electrostimulator.

Remove the cables during charging
Many people, especially when using the device for the first time, struggle to find the exact place to plug in the charger—no problem, it’s simple. Just remove all the cables and set them aside. You’ll notice that your Compex has a small red lever at the bottom left, where you can insert the charging cable to recharge the device, applying light leverage.

The convenience of the docking station
When it comes to the latest-generation wireless stimulators, it’s important to carefully consider how the docking station (charging station) is used. The docking station is designed for convenience: it’s meant to stay in one place rather than be carried around. If you do need to transport it, make sure the modules are firmly secured and correctly positioned using the foam support included in the box.
Our Compex has excellent battery life (from 10 to 20 days of use), and for transport you can use the convenient carrying case. But how do you insert the modules for charging? Inside the docking station there are four dedicated slots with small metal pins. Each wireless module must be placed into one of these slots, positioning the positive pole (where the power button is located) so that the two rear slots make contact with the metal pins.
IMPORTANT: On the edge of each module there are guides to wind the cable that connects it to the other module. Before charging, wrap the cable correctly and place the modules gently.

Can I fly with my electrostimulator?
Any electrostimulator can be carried on board during air travel—you can even use it during the flight. The solution is simple: the Compex travel bag. Small, flexible, and about the size of a pencil case, it allows you to store the Compex device, its modules (in convenient protective compartments), and even the electrodes.
On long trips, you can use programs such as Capillarization or Heavy Legs to promote blood circulation during long periods of sitting. If you plan to be away for a long time, we suggest keeping the docking station in your suitcase (without inserting the modules) and carrying your electrostimulator with you.
MI-Sensor: what it is and what it’s used for
Almost all Compex devices are designed with exclusive MI (Muscle Intelligence) technology, which analyzes your muscles to provide personalized and optimal stimulation at all times, thanks to various functions.
-
MI-Scan sets optimal stimulation based on your neuromuscular condition
-
MI-Range and Mi-AutoRange find the minimum effective intensity in passive programs
-
MI-TENS enables perfect stimulation in pain-relief and tendon programs
-
MI-Action detects voluntary contraction to synchronize stimulation
All these functions, in cabled models compatible with this technology, are performed via the MI-Sensor cable (in wireless models, they are integrated into all modules).
How is it used? Simply connect the MI-Sensor cable in place of any of the included cables; for convenience, we recommend using it instead of the red cable. The MI-Sensor cable can remain connected throughout the entire use of the electrostimulator.
Why are there four cables plus the MI-Sensor cable? Because sometimes you may not want to use MI technology (for example, for convenience or time reasons, or when using your cabled Compex with another person for a massage). Why is there only one MI-Sensor cable? For personal use, one is sufficient. MI technology measures neuromuscular data that are independent of the specific muscle being stimulated.
New wireless module? Here’s what to do
Please remember that it’s not possible to connect more than four cables or four modules to a Compex electrostimulator. Why? Proper electrostimulation is no joke: we do not recommend training more than two muscle groups per day, and four cables or modules are more than sufficient for this purpose.
If you purchase an additional pair of modules to upgrade your FIT 5.0 from two to four modules, or if you need to replace a wireless module, go to the Settings menu and follow the simple procedure under “Pair new module.” The device will display the instructions on the screen.
Occasionally, a module may lose its connection to the remote control. This happens for safety reasons, for example due to interference from external signals (such as a microwave oven in use). Simply repeat the pairing procedure and the issue will be resolved.

Looking for accessories, spare parts, or Compex support?
Compex has been on the market for over 40 years. This means there are devices that are still perfectly functional but have been out of production for a long time. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to provide spare parts for every product, but for many models you can access Compex support under the conditions outlined in an online document available here.
All available spare parts, batteries, and accessories can be found at www.compex.com.
