What is the difference between F1 and F2?
Question by: Adam Appleton on 30 Jun 2022 14:54
The Ayre Compression boots has 2 programs:

1. Mode F1-Pulse: The 4 chambers of the Ayre™ Compression boot will inflate automatically one by one. When all chambers are inflated, it will stay inflated for 10 sec. Then all chambers will deflate at the same time and the process repeats after 60 seconds of deflation.

2. Mode F2-Squeeze: The 4 chambers of the Ayre™ Compression boot will inflate automatically simultaneously. When all chambers are inflated, it will stay inflated for 10 sec. Then all chambers will deflate at the same time and the process repeats after 60 seconds of deflation.

Could you please advice when to use a mode as F1 and when to use F2 in terms of recovery? what is the difference between actually all of the chambers being all inflated at simultaneously or consecutively?

Hi Maryam,

The Ayre Compression boots has 2 modes, and you can switch the mode easily by tapping the power button on each boot.

1. Mode F1-Pulse: the 4 chambers of the Ayre™ compression boot will inflate automatically one by one. When all chambers are inflated, it will stay inflated for 10 sec. Then all chambers will deflate at the same time and the process repeats after 60 seconds of deflation.

Recommended for: use after intense competition.

2. Mode F2-Squeeze: the 4 chambers of the Ayre™ compression boot will inflate automatically and simultaneously. When all chambers are inflated, it will stay inflated for 10 sec. Then all chambers will deflate at the same time and the process repeats after 60 seconds of deflation.

Recommended for: use after training.

Hi,
My boots are relatively new. Today the left one did not work. The motor made much more noise, the inflating was very slow and after a moment it bipped and showed an E1 code on the screen.
What is wrong and what should I do?
Thank you,
Ines
